Review
Enanitos Verdes Tu carcel meaning and English lyrics explained
Tu Carcél – “Your Jail” is a song by the Argentine rock band Enanitos Verdes. the song was released in 2004 and it is among the most popular songs the band has made. Enanitos Verdes is recognized for having weird lyrics with a funny touch, however, Tu Carcél is a song with a great message.
Tu Carcél is a song about a gold digger woman who dumped his boyfriend to pursue other men with more money. The lyrics tell us the story of a man who is talking to a girl, she is leaving and then he says that if that is what she wants, what can he do to stop her, however, he wants to teach her that in poverty is how people truly learn to love. She will be gone and find men who are going to give her many gifts and money but, in the end, she will never find sincere love. He wants her to understand that nobody is perfect, the man is sad because he will see her suffering because of her acts.
Tu Carcél by Enanitos Verdes is one of those Spanish rock classics , it is a must if you want to learn the language, in terms of learning, the song isn’t difficult , there a few long sentences but the words aren’t complicated and the verbs are simple, what can be a little difficult is the singing which is a little fast, not too much, and the Argentinian accent which tend to be hard to follow. Tu Carcél is an excellent song for those Spanish learners who want an easy rock song in Spanish.
