Part of the specialized press and musicians consider him one of the most influential artists of Latin American rock. Influenced by The Beatles and The Police, Cerati joined various groups during his adolescence and in 1982 he founded the Latin rock band Soda Stereo.
"Adiós" is a song written by Gustavo Cerati and his son, Benito Cerati, which was released in 2007 as the third single from his fourth studio album, Ahí vamos (2006).
The song's lyrics were written by Gustavo Cerati and his son Benito.1 The lyrics of this song talk about the breakup of couples and that we can grow as people after a breakup.
The video begins with a scene where a family appears and different scenes appear throughout the video: work, a couple who meet and start a new relationship, and a marriage that breaks up. Near the end, students from a school appear, destroying everything, leaving only a couple kissing.
