Review
Gustavo Adrián Cerati was an Argentine musician, singer-songwriter and record producer who gained international recognition.
This song written by Cerati belongs to his time as a soloist and was included on the album There We Go in 2006. However, before making the decision to include it on the album, the composer was debating himself since the track did not represent his heavy rock notes, does not symbolize the theme of the album, and does not contain the elements so typical of Cerati's music, in addition, he put a piano as an introduction: "I never start with a piano," says Cerati in an interview. However, generally speaking, it is one of the most powerful songs in his repertoire, and he himself admits it.
The meaning of this song is longer than the lyrics themselves, and just like its video, it is worthy of a movie with a very tragic ending, although Gustavo himself considers that the lyrics were quite cheesy. The lyrics recount the tormented ordeal that a person faces when he realizes that he is no longer loved and at the same time is betrayed by his partner, whom he loves completely. His attempts to overcome the dilemma of being or not being, make him Ask yourself "what else can I do?his struggle to save what remains of his sanity and try to leave him behind in oblivion, before he stops valuing his own life, the dominant phrase indicates that his partner practically murdered him from the inside and no one will know how or why that is the crime.
