Review
Gustavo Adrián Cerati was an Argentine musician, singer-songwriter and record producer who gained international recognition for having been the leader, vocalist, composer and guitarist of the rock band Soda Stereo.
Noun phrases, short sentences and units of meaning with intentional omissions. A scenario where the link between music and poetry is maintained and a dichotomy is raised between the desired presence and a real absence and a speaker incapable of understanding "the distance". Then the Argentine talks about the sun and the reflection, about clarity versus appearance. And little by little these divisions vanish in the face of love and presence with the explicit repetition of “Thank you for coming”.
On the other hand, the video follows that line of travel, although the idea for the video clip arose from a mixture of improvisation and chance. Originally the song "Raíz" would be the promotional cut of "Bocanada", so the audiovisual piece was being thought for it. However, the label told them that they considered “Puente” to be the ideal single, so they had to change their plans.
