Review
Jeanette El muchacho de los ojos tristes meaning and lyrics explained
El muchacho de los ojos tristes – “The boy with the sad eyes” is a song by the British and Hispanic singer Jeanette . The song was released in 1982 and is considered one of the most influential songs by Jeanette.
El muchacho de los ojos tristes is a sad song with a beautiful message on it . Jeanette sings us the story of a girl who is apparently at a party or social reunion, maybe a bar, the point is that the girl sees a boy who looks serious, and depressed, there is something on his face that caught the girl's attention. There is no sign of happiness on the boy’s face.
The girl approaches the boy and starts dancing with him, he speaks a little and then goes silent during the dancing. The girl falls in love with the boy and she promises to change everything about him, to make him smile even though she doesn’t know his name.
In the end, the boy finds a new reason to be happy and smile thanks to the girl, now he is in love with her too, and they probably will end up seeing each other after that.
Jeanette sings beautifully with a slow-paced melody and the lyrics are uncomplicated and easy to understand, this is a recommended song for those wanting to learn Spanish and who don’t have too much knowledge to start with.
