Julieta Venegas Tuve para dar meaning and English lyrics explained
Tuve para dar – “I had to give” is a song by the Mexican singer and composer Julieta Venegas. The song was released in 2012 and it was inspired by her country Mexico.
Tuve para dar is a song dedicated to Mexico and how Julieta Venegas tries to express how her country has become more dangerous in terms of delinquency and narcotraffic. The lyrics say that Mexico was so happy, in its city happiness was everywhere and people always traveled to Mexico as tourists, however, one day blood was spilled and everything got corrupted, now Mexico inspires fear and nobody wants to travel there anymore. I believe Mexico is a beautiful country and surely Julieta Venegas's intention with this song was to make a protest against the rise of violence back then in 2012.
Tuve para dar by Julieta Venegas is an incredible song because it stands out from her usual lyrics about love and relationships, in terms of learning the song is pretty easy, there are no difficult verbs and sentences, now the singing can be little fast for someone who isn’t used still to Spanish songs. Recommended for those who want an easy song to practice and at the same time to listen to one of the most popular songs by Julieta Venegas.
