Review

The song is mainly gibberish (see below), but there is a little story line:  It's about a Rastafarian smuggler dude called Diego whose come to a busy beach bar in a wetskin watersuit maybe with a little bit of contraband left. 

Presumably he pops some of his own stash (or maybe he just tops up a little) and then he dances to his friend the DJs set, and he's loving it.

If your slightly more mature you will remember this song from the early noughties and the associated dance.

It was referred to at the time as Spanglish, but I think it's the other way round 'Engespanish' to coin a phrase. 

There are many wholly Spanish sentences of course - good for us language learners, but the main chorus is certainly not Spanish.

Researching on Wikipedia the truth is outed....  It is what our Spanish speaking-friend Diego sings (half-cut) when he's trying to sing the English song 'Rapper's Delight'.

So finally cleared that one up!   Clever to put drunk gibberish into the song, as that's what we all produce when singing a foreign song when we wasted, but still enthusiastic.

There appears to have been some conspiracy theories that the song was demonic with subluminal messaging.  But I doubt it. 

Ragatanga appears to be a place in India.    I have no clue as to why it is the 'ketchup' song.

It is sung so fast it's probably only for real experts.

The video is pretty hot although there is no sign of Diego (our hero), just the girls at the beach bar.   Nice bar it is too.  Apparently in Estepona. Makes me want to go.
