Review
Maná Vivir sin aire meaning in English and lyrics explained
Vivir sin aire – “Living (Live) without air” is a song by the Mexican band Maná, the song was released in 1992. Maná is considered one of the most influential and famous Latin-American bands of all time. Even though they aren’t as active as before their music is still among the most popular music in Latin America.
Vivir sin aire is a song about how difficult is to endure the pain of separation from someone you love. The lyrics are a comparison about how essential is the love of that person with vital things like air or water. The song is presented to us like a man is singing his paint out of his chest, I can imagine a man sitting on his bed repeating to himself things like “I wish I could live without you”, or “How I would like to love you less” which are actual lyrics in the song. The man from the song says that he can’t forget her, he tries to live without her, but it’s impossible, for that reason he says that a fish cannot swim without water, a bird can't fly without its wings.
Vivir sin aire by Maná is a beautiful ballad with slow singing and easy lyrics to read and understand, there aren’t difficult verbs and you can practice your pronunciation while singing. Recommended for those beginners who want to get used to Spanish and at the same time hear a classic Spanish song.
