Review

If you ever feel sad because you had a toxic relationship in the past, or you are in one right now, this song will be perfect for you. “Llorarás” – “You’ll cry” is a song by the Venezuelan Salsa singer Oscar D'León. “Llorarás” is a classic, there are no parties with salsa music where this song isn’t played. Oscar D'León is recognized by all Latin Americans and was honored in New York City thanks to his music style.

Oscar D'León represented in “Llorarás” what most of us had felt at any moment in our lives. having a relationship with a toxic person isn’t easy and is painful to give everything to that person just to be used and discarded when the person got bored, this is what this song is about.

The lyrics start telling us about the resignation of a man, who says that he knows that the girl she cared about doesn’t want him to love her. He looks for her everywhere but no matter how hard he tried she always avoids him, she made him suffer and his feelings are now set, he wants the karma to give her what she deserves for hurting him so much.

The rhythm of the Salsa genre is enticing and always makes you want to dance, the lyrics continue as the singer expresses that she will pay for all the bad things she did to him, he prophesies that when she realizes what she has done she will come back to him asking for forgiveness but his heart will no longer remember her, she will have no one to feel sad for her and in the end, she will get to experience all the sorrow he had.

This is a wonderful song and is excellent to hear when you are sad for a person. Now, in terms of learning, we can rate as easy the difficulty of this song for a learner, there are not many lyrics in it and most of them are repeated so you can use this song to practice the pronunciation of words like “Llorarás”, “Corazón”, “Perdón” and many others. For beginners this song is ideal, and if you love Latin music and culture this is a must to hear

If you liked “Llorarás” we recommend you to check Oscar D'León's website where you can find his social media and his other hits, also, if you liked the Salsa style, there is another great song you can check: “Juanito Alimaña” by Hector Lavoe, a song about a criminal in the streets of Cuba.
