Review
Ozuna El Farsante's meaning and lyrics explained
El Farsante translated as “The Impostor, The Poser” is a song by the Puerto Rican singer Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado best known as Ozuna . The song was released in 2017 and tells us the story of a man who regrets losing the love of an unknown girl.
El Farsante's lyrics tell us the story of a man who misses a girl because now that she’s gone, he realizes how much he loved her. He wants to smell her perfume in bed again, he wonders where are now all the kisses and all the plans they made, he doesn’t want freedom he just wants to stay with her again.
He asks the girl if she still loves him like before because without her he will not be able to fall in love again, he recognizes that at first, he faked his love to her, but after she left, he knew he made a mistake. He asks God for forgiveness.
Ozuna is a very popular reggaeton singer in Latin America and his fame is now reaching the USA, songs like El Farsante are very good to hear and the meaning of the lyrics isn’t complicated . Reggaeton music is excellent for Spanish learners who like challenges because reggaeton is more natural with the language. You will also learn expressions and slang that normally aren’t taught in classes and courses.
Overall, El Farsante by Ozuna is a nice song, very catchy and with a nice rhythm, not my favorite reggaeton song but one of the most popular songs in Latin America. The best thing about El Farsante is the little difficulty the piece has to translate and understand the lyrics and the singing, is very easy to follow.
