Review
Paulo Londra Tenso meaning and English lyrics explained
Tenso , translated as “Tense” is a song by the Argentine singer Paulo Londra released in 2022. Paulo Londra is a rapper but he also makes other kinds of musical genres like reggaeton and ballads. His lyrics are known for not introducing explicit themes but instead, he writes about daily life and romantic experiences.
Tenso is a Cumbia song about a man who is thinking about his relationship with his girlfriend . The video clip for the song shows us Paulo Londra and a girl who spend their days in the same house, living experiences with their friends and families but deep inside they don’t want to continue the relationship.
The lyrics describe how everything got “tense” as they no longer dinner together, now they just talk about their stuff and avoid each other in the house. The lyrics tell us that they preferred to ignore their problems instead of receiving advice.
The only difficult part when translating this song was the contraction of words like “vemo', pasábamo'” and other similar who can get you into making a mistake when trying to understand the lyrics in English and translating them. Besides that, the song is catchy, the rhythm is moving, and the lyrics and singing are clear and comprehensible. Tenso by Paulo Londra is a nice song if you want to listen to something different in Spanish and you are open to listening to a genre like Cumbia.
