Rammstein Te quiero puta! meaning and English lyrics
Te quiero puta! – “I love you whore!” is a song by the German rock band Rammstein. The song was released in 2005 and the lyrics are full in Spanish and sung with a Mexican accent and instruments. Mexico has the most fans in all of Latin America thanks to “Te quiero puta!” as the song was dedicated to them on various occasions.
Te quiero puta! Is a simple song with simple lyrics, and the feminine lyrics of the song were sung by the Venezuelan singer Carmen Zapata. The lyrics use many references to sex with sentences like “no no no tu corazón” – “No no not your heart” instead give me of your “Fruta” – “Fruit”, “Te deseo otra vez” – “I desire you again” but not your heart.
When the song was released, it was considered offensive in some countries in Latin America for the use of the word “Puta” – “whore” and the lyrics were polemic for the constant references to sex. As years have passed the song become one of the most iconic songs in Spanish and it is even liked by those who don’t even like rock.
As mentioned above the lyrics are extremely easy, if you like rock and at the same time you want to learn some Spanish this song is great for that because it doesn’t use difficult verbs or complex words, everything is easy going and the singing can be comprehensible since Rammstein vocalist wasn’t used to Spanish when he sang the song.
