Roberto Carlos Que será de ti meaning and English lyrics explained
Roberto Carlos is a Brazilian Singer-songwriter best known as the King of Latin Music or simply The King.
He was born in 1914 and has sold more than 150 million copies around the world. In Brazil, he is considered the best singer of all time.
His lyrics are always romantic and always include a melancholic tone that makes you feel sad but relaxed. Roberto Carlos has always suffered with women in his life as his mother died due to a respiratory infection and three of his wives died of cancer so his history is full of sad moments.
Que sera de ti – “What went on with you” is a song about the feeling of missing someone and wanting to know about that person but you can’t know anything so in your mind you just feel full of sadness and desperation. This song was released in 1972, a year when communications weren’t so easy so maybe what he expresses in the song is not being able to communicate with your lover for hours or days.
Que sera de ti by Roberto Carlos is an easy song, I recommend you to check his other songs because you can practice your Spanish easily with him. His singing is usually slow and the lyrics are always easy to understand and follow. His music may be a little old, but his themes are incomparable and as good as they were in the last two decades.
