When you are learning Spanish one of the most important things to pay attention to is pronunciation. “La tortura” is a song that was released in 2005 and received good reviews overall, “La tortura” is one of Shakira's most sold singles with more than 12 million copies sold around the world. The song headed in its time the top positions in music in Spain and even the king Juan Carlos praised the song and had a meeting with Shakira and Alejandro Sanz.

The lyrics and the video clip have an erotic and sensual touch that makes the song even more catchy as we can see Shakira dancing and moving her hips as only she can. The lyrics tell us the story of two lovers, Alejandro Sanz and Shakira, they live in the same apartment building, and Alejandro Sanz watches through his window Shakira who is also looking at him.
